In addition to our primary data centre projects located in Collie, DC Two has been diligently working on several others in our development pipeline.

We are excited to announce that a new data centre project located a couple hours North, in the states Mid West has finally matured to a point where we can add it to our official plans with our DC construction and roll out at the site having already begun.

Some key points regarding the Mid West data centre;

  • 2MW initial capacity
  • Located on site at an operational wind farm
  • HV/LV power transformers already in place
  • This site gives DC Two immediate access to a large amount of power and a site enabling us to begin deploying our modular data centres & components.

Due to the immediate availability of LV (low voltage) power, the Mid West site can be brought online and developed without any delay, and for this reason, will be developed as an immediate priority.

Progress to date;

  • Initial communications & equipment already deployed onsite and operational
  • Construction of our first modular data centre 'Mini Pod' has begun and is scheduled to be deployed on site Q2 2020

I've known John and the DC Two team for a number of years. They are experts in all things cloud, and share the same passion for technology as our IT business, Ever Nimble. We have worked with them on a number of occasions, including a complex global Veeam deployment, and they have provided incredibly quick access to Co-Lo space when we needed it urgently. I would highly recommend the team; we are a very proud partner.
